Speaker Information
Please sign up if you are willing to give service by speaking at OA meetings and events in the Sacramento Valley Area. The compiled list will be distributed to OA groups in SVIOA that email a request to Speaker List Chair . The list will not be distributed on the Internet.
Two recommendations are to be used as guidelines when a meeting secretary is seeking a speaker.
- The person has a minimum of 30 days abstinence. OA's definition of abstinence is "refraining from compulsive overeating."
- Actively working the steps.
Men's OA Meeting
This is just a reminder that our brand new men's OA meeting had it's first meeting this Monday, April 7, at 6:15pm. It meets at the Center for Spiritual Awareness at 1020 West Capitol Ave in West Sacramento.
